"Whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it..." (Exodus 35:4)

"Start the business !" was the message I received on Sunday, August 31st at the 2025 Asher Conference. I had already put some time and effort into the idea of starting my own hair school. It would be called Styles School of Barber and Cosmetology. My vision for the school was to add everything I could from my experience out of cosmetology school that I did not get while I attended. Definitely looking at it through the lense of not only a student, but a teacher. I started my business plan and finished with the help of my dear friend, Chellvie Mbaila. I then submitted to a former business owner and grant writer, and they submitted to a former colleague who checked it over and both were highly impressed with everything. So exciting right!

As Chellvie and I were conducting research for the school's business plan, we looked for the requirements to open up a barber and cosmetology school in the state of Ohio.

The following is what is required to be submitted for the New School License Application 45 prior to the school's opening:

Breakdown of program hours

Student contract/agreement

School Policies

School/Student Handbook

List of equipment

List of instructional/reference material

Schedule clinic and theory classes (First year)

Occupancy Permit

We came across the real question! Where will the money come from to actually be able to see my vision a reality? How would I be able to start up the school? How would I be able to keep it open? Yet alone, how would I be able to even apply for the New School License? With factoring in what the Ohio Cosmetology and Barber Board requires, I was like I'm going to have to halt! The first requirement on the list is a floor plan. I'm like I don't even have a building! On top of that, I don't have the required equipment from the list of equipment provided by the state. Everything is just on paper at this point.

So throughout this whole time, I thought I was initiating a closer relationship with God, but God had been drawing me closer to HIM. "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44). God was already moving on my behalf. So I found myself volunteering to attend this Asher Conference in Duluth, GA in August 2025. Honestly, I had no idea what it really was. I thought it was going to be a deliverance conference. Little did I know, there are no coincidences with God. The whole conference was reforming. From day 1 of the conference's message of a repented heart, to prayer loosing my tongue to speak in tongues. Day 2's message of a pure heart and clean hands, year of assembly, a repented heart, put on Christ, command me, and prophecy over my life. Day 3 was so powerful, and that's what blessed me so. Day 3 said: "Start your BUSINESS!!"

"When God reveals his work to you, that is the time to respond to HIM" (Richard Blackaby). November 18th, 2024 was the last time I opened the document of my business plan. The burden of the how was heavy. "What God initiates, he completes it" (Richard Blackaby). But God!

I was self-centered thinking, how am I going to be able to open up this school? I am now coming at my vision with God-centered thinking. A prophetic word was spoken over my life that I believe. That I would be systematic like God. What does that mean?!? Systematic like God? I was wondering the same question. So like I said before, I've been on my own personal walk with God. I always try to read a chapter a day out of the Bible. During this exact time I was reading Exodus, the book of the bible that includes how Moses led the children of Israel out of Egypt. So at the end of the conference, I started to reflect on the transpiring of events, and not wanting to be overwhelmed by the breath of fresh air. I opened up my bible app and the next chapter was Exodus 35. In short it describes the materials for the Tabernacle. Please read it to gain clarity for yourselves, as I read it, I came across this:

4: Moses said to the whole Israelite community, “This is what the Lord has commanded. 5: From what you have, take an offering for the Lord. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the Lord an offering ..."

and I continued reading ...

10: “All who are skilled among you are to come and make everything the Lord has commanded"

and I continued to read further ...

21: And everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments. 22: All who were willing, men and women alike, came and brought ...

and I kept reading ...

29: All the Israelite men and women who were willing, brought to the Lord freewill offerings for all the work the Lord through Moses had commanded them to do.

31: And he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge, and with all kinds of skills-- 32: to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 33: to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts. 34: And he has given both him and Oholiab, son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others. 35: He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers.

I didn't even notice God was talking to me until I read Exodus 36

36: 1 So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the Lord has commanded.”

2 Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work. 3 They received from Moses all the offerings the Israelites had brought to carry out the work of constructing the sanctuary. And the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning. 4 So all the skilled workers who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left what they were doing 5 and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the Lord commanded to be done.”

6 Then Moses gave an order and they sent this word throughout the camp: “No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” And so the people were restrained from bringing more,7 because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work."

This was the prophetic word coming true!!! This answered my questions on the what's and how's of God systems on opening my business! Thank you God! It is truly breathtaking! When he shows you what to do, you do it!

So my Visions are coming ALIVE in 2025. I'm not waiting anymore! I have decided that I will follow what thus says the Lord! "START THE BUSINESS LESLIE!" and this is how!

So I am asking those of a willing heart to sow a seed offering into Styles School of Barber and Cosmetology! I will not have to beg. God has placed people of willing hearts to come across this and they will be obedient and sow a seed. Those who cannot not sow a seed monetary, you can in other efforts, share this post, get it out to the people. All skilled people, I need your willingness. I need a convergence of willing hearts and skilled people to support. I believe God is going to assemble HIS people yet again and give an abundance of overflow that I'll have to say, "Okay guys I have enough!"

I'm following God, anywhere he leads me! He has led me this far! It's going to be really good, I can see my vision coming to life.
