My name is Terri Stong and I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend Ray’s family. For those of you who don’t know me, Ray’s sister (Liz) and I have known each other since graduate school. Ray was the brother I never had. ❤️ Unfortunately over the last several months, Ray was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). Ray recently passed away, leaving behind loved ones who are now facing the heartbreaking task of saying goodbye far too soon.

If you knew Ray, you know he was one of a kind. He had a huge heart, he was always the first to offer help when someone needed it. He loved being in his shop, tinkering on projects, and in his garden, “just puttering around,” as he would say.

Ray’s passing has left his family with unexpected expenses for his funeral and final arrangements. My hope is that we can come together to ease that burden, so they can focus on grieving, remembering, and celebrating the incredible person Ray was.
