The Olive Branch for Children provides care and hope to vulnerable children, women and communities in rural Tanzania.
My husband, Putiyei Kimala Nangereke and I are co-managers of The Olive Branch for Children, but most importantly, we are parents to 31 amazing children in Mbeya who make our life complete and, fun aunt and uncle to 15 more at the Peace Home in Mswiswi.
Our dream is to build a home for our 31 children at the Zion Home and the 15 children at the Peace Home, as well as a school. The vision is to develop a site that will be eco-friendly and sustainable, but most importantly, will belong to the children themselves.
It will allow us to move out of the rental properties we have been using and finally create a home and space for the children that truly belong to them!!
The $5000 will go towards building a classroom on the new Olive Branch site, moving us closer to our dream of moving in.
We have promised our children that there will always be a home for them and for other children in need.
