Stu's Triple Bypass & Stroke Recovery

As some of you may already know, Stu (Dad) was taken to hospital on Wednesday the 22nd of November.

On arrival, he was quickly admitted as he was showing signs of a stroke. This was soon confirmed with mobility issues on his left side leaving him currently unable to walk a straight line, or even to walk without assistance.

On top of this, it was found that he has also suffered several heart attacks.

Stu was transferred by ambulance to Wollongong hospital where he underwent an angiogram, which unfortunately was ceased after about 2 minutes as dads specialist has said that he would require a triple bypass. We have since been informed his carotid artery is also blocked.

Most of you would know Stu and Char rely solely on the income of their business “Surf art by Stu” and this medical emergency is going to see Stu out of action for quite a while we imagine (we still don’t know the full extent of the stroke, or the outcome of the triple bypass.)

Speaking as Stu’s children we appreciate if anyone would please be able to donate to our beautiful dad (and mum) to help with medical expenses and ongoing living expenses with dad not being able to work.

We currently have little to no answers about what the future looks like and this small business that mum and dad have created is going to take a massive hit. As of right now, he’s going to be out of action for while and we can’t imagine that he will be able to pick up a paintbrush anytime soon…
