Running the 2026 Manchester Marathon for Sturge Weber UK

In 2024, I ran a half marathon for Sturge Weber UK.

 

This time, I’m going further. On April 19th, 2026, I’ll be taking on the Manchester Marathon to raise both funds and awareness for this amazing charity and the incredible families it supports.

 

I had never heard of Sturge Weber Syndrome until I met Jake, his amazing family and their brave little boy Alfie. Now, I can’t imagine not doing something to help.

Alfie is one of the strongest little boys I’ve ever met. Despite the daily challenges he faces, he always has a smile. Sturge Weber syndrome is a complexed neurological condition and is estimated to affect around 1 in 20,000 to 1 in 50,000.

Families often struggle to access specialised care or support, which makes the work of Sturge Weber UK absolutely vital.
