Stunnah’s Heart

Donation protected

Joseph “Jo Stunnah” Drayton-Duece from GE 2005, Hampton University football alum has been battling hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM) for the last 5 years. HCM causes abnormal thickening in the heart muscle and led Stunnah to have constant fatigue, shortness of breath, and chest pain. On August 1, 2020 he was informed during a routine cardiac exam that his heart was only pumping 17% of the normal 80% ventricular blood. His condition was deemed critical and the cardiologist placed him on the transplant list. Luckily, a heart match was found and transplanted successfully on August 10, 2020. He is now in need of significant financial assistance for the procedure, hospital stay, and most importantly the anti-rejection medication/aftercare. Our brother needs your prayers and support, as well as any contribution you're able to give. Once discharged from the medical center he will require 24 hour care, lodging and daily medication.  This level of care will continue for the foreseeable future.  He is currently in the ICU intubated and slowly regaining consciousness. Please help give our brother the best quality of life he can have, and pray for his speedy recovery. God bless you all and thank you.
