Hello friends and family!
As some of you may know, Speight and I are attending Bond University in Queensland Australia this fall semester. This is a huge opportunity for us to grow as young adults and to be more independent, cultured and educated men. And, we will take advantage of some cool things unique to Australia- like surfing. It's a dream come true and we feel incredibly thankful.
This semester abroad however comes at a great cost. We're willing to eat our share of peanut butter and cardboard sandwiches to stretch our dollars, but the tuition, room and board, travel expenses, and student visas have added up to more than we can cover as students.
Our parents have generously agreed to match our regular tuition costs. We'll be donating dollars from our summer employment & savings to pay for our food & activities.
And.. this is where we hope you'll come in. We need to get there and flights are expensive! Our goal is to raise $4,000 by the end of August. We'll happily trade some work hours for donations if anyone needs help too (mow lawns, weed, clean out the garage, basically any dirty job you don't want to do).
We would so appreciate any help you can give us. No words could express our gratitude for helping us reach our goal.
