I am excited to share with you that I have received the opportunity to study culinary this upcoming fall in Orvieto, Italy for 12 weeks. For those of you who do not know I am currently enrolled in school at The Culinary Institute of Michigan where I am going for my food and beverage management degree. Culinary is one of my biggest passions and I believe this trip will be life changing for me; I have never traveled out of the country before and I feel that this experience will expose me to other cultures and authentic cuisine.
August 5th- October 22nd, 2018 I will leave for Italy where I will be doing an externship for Chef Lorenzo at his restaurant, Ristorante Zeppelin. Here I will be learning everything from pasta, gelato, and focaccia. Along with working for Chef Lorenzo I will have the opportunity to take many classes where I will walk away with many different diplomas including, diploma of "Maestro del Ciccolato", "Cherry Wine Maker, Svinnere Wine", "FarmerChef", and "Expert of Italian Cuisine".
For anyone who knows me they know how much I truly love cooking and culinary arts as a whole along with the passion that I have for it.
