Study in Italy with Brown University

Two Providence Career and Technical Academy high school students have been accepted into the study abroad with Brown University's Pre-College Program as Juniors. I am Naomi, and I'm a first-generation student, with 2 siblings and being raised by a single mother. My mother is from the Dominican Republic. I am Karriana, and I too am from Providence with 3 younger siblings, and my father is the only one working in the household. I am also a first-generation student and getting into this program will open up many doors. This study abroad opportunity will be to explore the ancient world of Rome for 2 weeks. We are looking to travel in the busy time of June which makes these tickets more expensive. Anything you can contribute will be helpful. We hope to raise enough funds by the first of June. For both of us, it would be $5,000 (or $2500 per student).
