Study Abroad: UF in Madagascar

I have recently been presented with an amazing opportunity to study abroad for a month in Madagascar through the University of Florida. Usually the trip is for wildlife majors, but I have been invited to come as the trip's botanist! Home to some of the World's most biologically diverse ecosystems - I will get hands on experience in the fields of biodiversity, conservation, and sustainable development. We will visit a number of national parks, exploring sustainability mechanics under international researchers and merited scholars. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity, that would really mean the world to me as I further my degree at UF.
