Study Abroad: Three Weeks in Japan

Hi, everyone! Paddy Driscoll here. I'm currently attenting classes at IUSB. It's been fun, and I've learned a lot while here. I'm especially pleased with the classes I've taken in the Japanese language. I've had the same professor every semester as I have taken these classes, and we've gotten to know one another. That brings me to this exciting opportunity; my Japanese professor, Green-sensei, is leading a study abroad program during the first summer session. It will last for three weeks, and during that time we will see sights such as Tokyo's famous Akihabara district and Skytree. I'm really looking forward to the trip, especially in regards to learning about Japan's rich culture and improving my grasp of the language. However, there is one problem. Naturally, it does cost a good amount of money, since we need to reserve plane tickets, book hotel rooms, and pay for provided meals. I have been applying for jobs, naturally, but at this rate it seems unlikely that I'll be able to pay the full amount by the end of May, when it's due. I signed up for this trip because I missed the opportunity in previous years, but it looks like I may have to pull out if I can't figure out a way to pay for it. For that reason, any support would really be appreciated. I've been hoping to travel to Japan for a long time, and I really hope that I won't have to let this chance slip out of my fingers.
