Study Abroad Psychology Program 2023

Get to know me!

Hi guys! My name is Taylor Stevenson and I am currently a junior attending a well-known University within my region. I am studying Psychology with a minor in Social Work. Moreover, I aspire to become a Child Psychologist that seeks to impact the development of children and adolescents; specifically helping them overcome trauma they have been exposed to so they can grow into successful individuals in society. I am a firm believer that we need to protect our children because they are the future!

There are many other passions in my life that help shape who I am. I love to help in my community, specifically assisting in donating food to underprivileged families. I also love to serve in my local church through liturgical dance and serving on the Business Alliance committee!

Why did I create this Go Fund me?

I have been given this wonderful opportunity to Study Abroad this Spring and I am looking forward to every moment of this experience. We have the opportunity to travel to London, Austria, and Germany for 2 weeks to learn different cultures and explore the history of Psychology. This will take place in June of 2023 and your donations will allow me to embark upon this journey. It is certainly amazing because I have always wanted to go to London. In fact, I had a strong desire to go about 2 years ago and had an idea to start to plan it out in my Google Docs as well as pray for it. I believe this is a God-given opportunity truly because his word is true. “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” -Psalm 37:4

I have learned throughout my life that the promises of God never fail and he truly blesses his children with good things. ♡ I pray that this encourages you to pursue your dreams! It is never too late.

How will the funds be used for this cause?

Every single donation, big or small, will go directly towards flights (arrival and departure) food expenses, travel fees, and any activities that are not covered by the University.
