Hi my name is Ti’keria. I am a full time Elementary Education/Special Education Major , mother of 3 and currently work at a school with Autistic children. I recently applied and Interviewed for the chance to study abroad in may in the UK and as of Friday have been informed I was selected to go. The trip is for 8 days and while there I will get a chance to study at their Universities and explore the culture and education system and history as well. I am required to also attend classes and complete assignments. I am a financial aid recipient which only covers my fall and spring 

courses and books which leaves me to come up with the funds to go. I’m very prideful but believe this experience will help my educational career and be a life changing experience I can share with my children. I’m asking anyone who could find it in their hearts to help get me there even if it’s $1. It all adds up. The amount I’m trying to raise covers the 8 day trip round trip flight 

and sleeping accommodations. I am also going to be doing a few fundraisers as well on my own. I thank you in advance for your help and just know I am working hard on my end as well.
