Study Abroad: Music Program in Florence, Italy

Hi my name is Terrance Shepherd, and I am a music teacher, pianist, and composer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I currently serve as a Music Adjunct Professor at Central Piedmont Community College, where I teach Music Appreciation and Introduction to Jazz.

I am excited to share that in the summer of 2025, Central Piedmont Community College is organizing a trip to Florence, Italy, titled "Music Appreciation and Cultural Immersion." I am seeking assistance to make this opportunity a reality by studying abroad in Florence.

Participating in this program will not only be an unforgettable journey for me but will also enhance my teaching and contribute to my professional development. I aim to use this experience to build a new curriculum for music appreciation that incorporates popular music and fosters cultural engagement.
