Study Abroad Temple University Japan, Tokyo

Hi, my name is Codou, I attend Marist College and am majoring in Fashion Merchandise. In the fall of 2019.I will be going to study abroad in Japan, Tokyo on the pursuit of completing my fashion coursework. The fund will be used for my travel expense, books, and miscellaneous activity. I really would need the funds by the month of August of 2019. My goals, academically, personally, and professionally are to take the fashion industry by storm and contribute to changing the dynamics and aesthetic of fashion. My life completely revolves around fashion and being able to participate in this study abroad program would help me have more uniqueness to offer.  My goals are either to own my own clothing line or become a buyer for a huge fashion industry or maybe even both. Studying abroad can help create a positive impact on my resume and increase my chance of employment with international and multinational organizations. Unfortunately, However, I do know that with travelling comes a lot of expenses, most of which are unexpected such as visas, food, travel, etc. I have been working to help ease the hassle, but it is definitely not going to be enough to get through the semester as seamlessly as possible especially when I won't be able to work while I'm away. If I get this chance to go, I will be self-driven to success and will not take anything for granted. For me to embrace and see the fashion capital of the world makes me hungry to learn from my trials and errors. I want to master my gift in Japan, Tokyo. and hone my skill. I want to master my industry as an advanced professional, and I believe studying abroad is a step in the right direction. Marist College Paris international cost sheet requires me to have $2,000 for food, transportation, and books. This is really a struggle for me to reach because of my financial issues at home and because I don't work a lot of hours at my current summer job which I started not too long ago because of all the required paperwork. I really would appreciate any help with this cost so that I am able to take as much advantage as I can through this study abroad program.  I deserve this chance because last semester was a struggle for me and many people doubted me because they did not think I could get my G.P.A high enough for me to study abroad. This semester I proved people wrong and finally reached the Study abroad requirement to get accepted into the program. I want nothing more than to make my dream a reality and be able to gain the most out of this experience without added stressors. As a college student, I already have a lot on my plate but even those things, I still make the best out of. Thank you so much!
