Hi, my name is Aidan Berrong, and I am a first-year Occupational Therapy student at Augusta University. I am honored to share that I have been given the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Rwanda during the Spring 2026 semester as part of my Level II Fieldwork experience. During this time, I will be immersed in hands-on learning while working alongside fellow classmates, professors, and community members to provide client-centered care. This experience will not only strengthen my clinical reasoning and practical skills but also deepen my understanding of how culture, environment, and access to resources influence occupational engagement and participation. I am so excited to broaden my global perspective, learn from diverse approaches to healthcare, and bring these insights back to my future practice as an occupational therapist.
