Study Abroad in France & Music Camp CIT Position

Hi! My name is Anna. I am dually enrolled in Bolton Central School in Bolton Landing, New York, and early college at Bard College at Simon’s Rock, where I was accepted at age 16. I am now finishing up my freshman year with concentrations in French literature/language and English creative writing. This summer, I have two opportunities to expand my love of music and the French language. Bard is offering a four-week study abroad program in Tours, France in early summer. Following that, one of the East Coast’s premier music camps, the Eastern U.S. Music Camp at Colgate University has invited me to become a counselor-in-training. I am asking for donations to support these experiences, without which I will not be able to attend.

Bard College Immersion Tours, France

If I can acquire the funds, I will study abroad along with my program at Bard Annandale with a host family for a fully immersive experience. I will pick up the smaller conversational phrases that will help me communicate seamlessly and string together advanced thoughts.

Eastern U.S. Music Camp

I have been attending this sleep-away camp as a camper/student since I was ten years old, and to come full circle and help other younger kids feel at home and have their best experience possible for four weeks of summer would be my dream.

I place so much value in experiences, but I can’t do all that I would love to, and all that I would greatly benefit from, without help. I am asking for your support, every donation will help me reach my dream. Thank you for thinking of me!
