StudioZer0 have been invited as a collaborator by International Arts Organisation Nine Dragonheads to add voice from DownUnder and take 8 AUSTRALIAN ARTIST to a site specific environmental International Pavilion ~ Singing In The Dark Times Exhibition & Symposium @ the 60th Venice Biennale 2024 . StudioZer0 are honoured to be invited to participate in this historical prestigious event a pinnacle of every Visual Artist career.

However first we have to raise some emergency funds to send our Founding Member LOIS SCHENK as our artist representative to the Venice Biennale Singing In The Dark Times Workshop 2023 ~ 30th April to 9th May. This workshop is crucial for the Research & Development of all 8 invited Australian Artist proposed installation works. To discuss all matters of installation and concepts with the Curators, Directors and Task Force so that all StudioZer0 Australian Installation Artworks are represented and presented well and correctly in the 60th Venice Biennale 2024.

Whilst we have been and are busy applying for grants and sponsors for the main event in 2024 most funds will not come in to play until the new financial year which is well after the Early May Workshop 2023. Something we were not sure whether we were attending until more recently where it became extremely obvious to us that it is almost mandatory for one of us to be there to gain the highest visibility for our DownUnder Artist.

So here we are asking for your help to raise these funds in just TWO WEEKS so we can meet our obligations and send our Founding Member Lois Schenk to represent us all! We are currently without cash flow and working capital and yes all our committee members and artist have been volunteering and donating many hours organising, choosing artist and writing proposals and grants for the past 5 months. So I guess in that light we are just a little late to the table on raising funds for one of us to go to the Workshop which we now feel is crucial for one of us to be at.

StudioZer0 has provided support to a number of artists that embody & share non-traditional practices, purpose and/or processes - either as as artists or in relation to art itself.

In 2003 StudioZer0 Art formed an ongoing relationship with global arts organisation Nine Dragon Heads, (founded by Byoung-Uk Park 26 years ago) and have participated whenever possible in their international symposiums and projects.

We champion a democratisation of artists and art at the highest levels!

~Exposure to international projects and opportunities enabled through our existing close relationship with Nine Dragon Heads, Artisterium such as the 2024 Venice Biennale

~Enable artists to practice art in new locations and connect with like-minded artists through the development of Artist in Residence programs, exhibitions and working outside their studios as part and along side of The Shipping Project Creative Hub initiatives.

~Bring artists and creatives together to network, explore, and grow through the creation of our multidisciplinary itinerant Creative Hub based in converted shipping containers in the Perth Cultural Centre
