Studio uplift and workshops for young people

Help us to improve and rennovate the studio and workshops for the young people at Baby People!

We're trying to raise funds to refit one of the music studios and improve the equipment. We'd also like to run regular weekly sessions for young people across the city who don’t have access to music making facilities in the city to learn new skills.

About Baby People:

Baby People is a music and arts development organisation. It is the UK’s first dedicated Hip Hop school, and uses art and culture to engage and support the needs of the most deprived in our communities. We believe that art and music can be empowering tools and forms of expression for people in all stages of life.

Baby People delivers workshops through full academic year placements, working with primary schools to Adult Education. We're committed to working with young people who struggle to engage with mainstream education and classes in Music Production, Creative Writing & Lyrics, Breakdance, Aerosol and Graffiti Art and more, take place at our recording studios or offsite.
