The beauty and spa industry is truly redefined at Studio Elements. We offer comfort and privacy in a peaceful and highly customized luxurious salon and spa setting for industry professionals and their clients.
After successfully operating our business model for over 10 years, we could never imagine that Stay-at-home order by government can shut us down due to the pandemic. As an experienced business operator, Studio Elements was spearheading and reshaping the trends along with organic growth and new locations delivery with consistent and unprecedented success. Until the pandemic hit the thriving US economy, disrupting industries and eliminating small businesses and communities. Studio Elements was entering into the final construction phase of our 3rd location when COVID-19 hit us bad. All existing NOI (net operating income) was reinvested to a new location buildout, which irreversibly stretched our cash flow, exposing the entire business structure to cease operations.
We have been affected by COVID-19 and straggling to sustain our operating expenses such as rent, utility bills, manager salary. While forced by the state to shut down on March 19th, the business has not generated any revenue. There has been no funding, unemployment or stimulus available for the business under current guidelines. SBA Disaster Loan Program was opened for 5 days only and we didn’t qualify to file the application on time.
While COVID-19 has affected our business, it has not affected our spirit and desire to succeed! We have a big heart and have supported various causes such as charities, school’s sports teams, Breast Cancer Awareness foundation as well as extended annual contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Given our charitable spirit, it is not easy to ask for help when you need it. Any support is welcome and is greatly appreciated!
With your kindness and support we will be able to keep our business afloat, cover operational costs, employee salary, rent (as we are behind), utility and other bills only to reemerge as strong and successful entity to benefit our entrepreneurial and undefeated community.
