Studio Backline For High School Students

Hello, My name is Marc Hunt and I teach Video Production & Recording Arts to high school students in a Career & Technical (CTE) program in Cheektowaga, NY. I am looking to raise funds to provide students with instruments to use while in the program. The instruments to be purchased include acoustic drums, electric and acoustic guitars, electric bass, and amplifiers. The instruments and amplifiers will help the students learn how to play and produce professional recordings while in the program. Currently, we have an electric drumset and keyboards that I supplied for the class.

Having the instruments in the classroom is important to me because it will give the students real-world experience on how to record, maintain, play, and work with instruments in their projects. The students will also gain experience in miking up amplifiers and changing the controls in order to achieve the sound they are looking for to record that is right for the song.
