Hi! We are Lainee and Michael. After many years of being artists as a side hustle, we are finally opening an Art Gallery and Studio! We get keys February 1st. We are beyond excited!! Why do we want to open Studio 42?

*We believe, now more than ever, people need welcoming, inviting, community spaces to grow and learn and make connections.

*All will be welcome, including those with differing ideas, from all social backgrounds, all religious affiliations, all political sides of the aisle.

*We need interaction. We need social gatherings. We need to be surrounded by life to feel alive.

Studio 42's Mission Statement

*We align with our highest good to create a community that fosters love, growth, education, healing and support. By healing ourselves, we will heal the world.

*We will create art that families can commune around, art that will foster conversations, and art that is as unique as each individual.

You may be asking, what is Studio 42?

*Studio 42 is a center of love and light that is created by the community for the community.

*It is an art gallery, a retail shop, a classroom, a temple, a spiritual resting ground. It is a place for renewal, growth and inspiration.

*It is a means of giving back and a center to change the world through donation, participation awareness and creation.

*It will be a respite from the negative fear-based society we live in so that we can arm all individuals who are interested in change, with the skills and confidence to envision their dreams, and assistance to leap fully into them.

*It is a space where we can be the change we wish to see in the world.

Who will Studio 42 help?

*By creating a space that is in part a reflection of the community and also a vision for a better community, we can create a space of hope.

*We will help the mental health of those in our community that will spread worldwide.

*The studio will be available to people of all ages, colors, genders, and ethnicities looking to increase mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health.

*We believe we will help the planet by helping the individual walk their inner path.

*Art heals and through art and community we will heal the world

Who is Studio 42's Target Audience?

*Our focus will be with Veterans and Teens and we will be open to anyone looking to improve their mental health, their life, and the lives of others.

*We want to create a space where people can follow their own light through classes on art, meditation, yoga, reiki, tarot and resources for wholeness.

*I will offer art release sessions for people to work through physical pain, emotional setbacks, mental entanglements and ancestral blocks.

*We will carry other artists’ work to help struggling artists and artists using art as a therapy to heal from physical, mental, emotional and spiritual pain

Why is Studio 42 Important?

*We want to teach every generation how to tap into their internal creative child and express what lies within.

*We believe through expression via art, people won’t feel so alone and will learn to deal with past trauma and maybe we can help young people navigate the world and decrease teen depression, anxiety and suicide.

*This studio will build confidence through knowledge and practice by providing, people of all skill levels, a safe space to create, express, and fail for rapid, unhindered growth.

What is up with the Number 42?

*42 Degrees is the angle light travels through water to create a rainbow. We believe as we all travel through our storms, if we keep going, we will find the rainbow.

*Angel Number 42 is discovering your life purpose and pursuing your life passions through quieting the mind and listening for the guidance of your heart.

*Michael and I dream of circumnavigating and our journey will begin in the Pacific Ocean. 42 degrees due south from Seattle is Hilo Hawaii and on to the South Pacific. We’d like to take this plan to the world population down the road to travel and meet and understand different cultures to learn from them and how we are all connected. What I do in my hometown has a ripple effect. All of our actions have a ripple effect. Let's create a ripple of love, acceptance, hope and expansion.
