Students for BLM

Enough is enough. The black community for far too long has faced barriers that have been systematically ingrained into our society, and the time to make a change is now. Black Lives Matter is a call to action against state-sanctioned violence. The organization aims to take a stand against institutionalized racism, and the movement is being heard around the world. DECA Laurier sees the student community as allies who have the ability to make a real difference in how BIPOC are discriminated against. The money raised through this GoFundMe will be donated directly to Black Lives Matter - Toronto, where your money will be used to forge critical connections and solidarity in black communities. This serves to dismantle the forms of oppression, violence, and brutality that black people face by the very systems that were implemented to protect its people.
