We are George, Peggy and Sammy, students at Dorothy Stringer School, Brighton. We want to represent our school and the UK at the Normandy International Youth Leadership Summit in Le Havre this November. There will be students from over 20 different countries meeting to discuss and plan responses to some of the most pressing issues facing us today. Sharing different perspectives from around the world will help us understand the issues in more depth and give us greater confidence in putting forward solutions that consider the needs of everyone.

It is approximately 150 miles to Le Havre from Brighton. We are not going to be able to swim there but we are going to do a number of sponsored walks over the next two months that will be the equivalent of us walking to Le Havre. We will log the walks on the Strava app so we have evidence of our walks.

If we are successful in raising the money we need we will donate any extra money to East Sussex Wildlife Rescue & Sussex Wildlife Trust.
