Help Students Experience the Sierra Nevada

Students learn best through impactful experiences. We're raising money to allow 9th-10th grade students from Hayward Twin Oaks Montessori School to participate in a 3-day forest ecology excursion in the Sierra Nevada that some of their families cannot afford. We've made a promise that every student who wants to go should be able to go, regardless of their family's financial situation, and the situation is very difficult for many in our diverse urban community.

Any donation will help us fulfill that promise, and help these students participate in our 3-day, 2-night outdoor education progarm with Sierra Nevada Journeys, where the connection they will gain with our environment will boost their capacity and confidence to be positive agents in protecting their future (and ours!)
