Student Short Film - Break a Leg

Donation protected
Break a Leg follows Harry (a recent drama graduate) in the dressing room in the minutes before his first ever professional audition. After slightly embarrassing himself in front of the casting director, to reign his nerves in he starts to practice his monologue, "To be or not to be" from Shakespeare's Hamlet. However, ghosts representing every aspect that makes a good performance start to appear in the room, constructively bullying him. Including his own worst critic, himself. In the audition, after a small fumble, who shows up to remind Harry of everything that makes his performance better? The ghosts.

We are a group of students of Film Studies and Production at Queens University Belfast. As part of our Fiction Film Practice module we have been tasked with producing a 6-8 minute long short film.

To make our film the best it can possibly be, we have decided to use crowdfunding to generate a budget to cover production costs such as props, costumes and catering for cast and crew.

We hope you will help us in bringing our film to life through this fundraiser. All donations will go towards helping us make Break a Leg the best film it can be.
