Hi my name is Giorgia, and I am the producer of our university project Offline! Our project revolves around developing a 6-part SVOD series, partnered with Amazon, and we have an incredibly hardworking and passionate crew trying to bring our director Abbie Nelson's vision to life!
About our project:
As a digital blackout hits the UK, a lost tourist, Ava, and a lifelong Londoner, Alex, are forced to navigate the city in the chaos together. Forming an unlikely bond as they confront memory, anxiety, and what it means to connect when the world goes silent. Ava is desperate to reach her critically ill aunt, while Alex fears losing his job even in the dark. As they deliver his final parcels across a powerless city, their journey becomes a reflection on presence, nostalgia, and the fragile threads that hold us together.
Why we need your support!
Unfortunately, this semester we are not provided with a budget meaning we are unable to provide pay for actors as well as provide catering and costs for transport. We are determined to be able to provide for our actors and our crew!
With your support we will be able to provide the following:
- Wages for actors - ensuring our cast are fairly compensated for all their talent, time and hard work.
- Camera lenses and equipment - to achieve the cinematic view point from our DOP and to create a cinematically pleasing piece our story deserves.
- Costume design - to bring authenticity and detail to each character.
- Catering and transport costs - ensuring our cast and crew are well fuelled throughout our shooting days and to make sure everyone has safe and reliable travel between filming locations.
