OUR PROJECT
Self-Continuity was a unique collaboration, based in Paris, between the art gallery AFIKARIS and an international group of students pursuing an MBA in Contemporary Art Management at IESA arts & culture .
Self-Continuity was a unique collaboration, based in Paris, between the art gallery AFIKARIS and an international group of students pursuing an MBA in Contemporary Art Management at IESA arts & culture .
Our exhibition, which took place between January 13-18, 2022, explored the concept of the interconnections between one’s past, present and future to gather a collective consciousness. The subject is perceived through the eyes of contemporary artists from Africa and its diaspora.
To conclude our project, we are currently working on Self-Continuity: Art Book Retrospective which contains - introduction by an expert, the curatorial statement, exclusive artist interviews along with their original portraits and conclusion by the curator.
