Student Nurses Travelling to Nepal 2023

Hi there!

~ EDIT: Us again! Thank you so much to all those who have already donated, we are incredibly grateful. Seeing as we reached our target so quickly, we have decided to raise our goal!! It is now $1500. Please donate as little or as much as you can. ~

We are part of a group of nursing students who are very fortunate to be heading to Nepal in April of this year! We will be spending 3 weeks doing a placement in and around Kathmandu. We will be going through a company called Beyond Borders, have a look at their website for more info: https://beyondbordersprograms.org/

We have the opportunity to raise money for a selection of programs. The money we raise will go directly into buying the equipment they need to run the programs. These include

1. CPR Course, where qualified professionals spend time teaching communities on how to perform effective CPR. As access to lifesaving healthcare is often delayed, and inaccessible to those located remotely.

2. Menstruation Education Program. A project that helps to educate young girls and boys on the physiology of menstruation. The funds will go towards educational materials as well as pads, and support bags for girls.
