Hi! My name is Jack Cebula. I am a student at Loyola Marymount University and welcome to the crowdfunding campaign for my short film: Magic Bullet!
About the Project
Magic Bullet is the story of a gunslinger who is forced to rise to the occasion when the magic gun he once relied on is destroyed! It is an homage to classic westerns with a comedic twist!
Ever since my first year at LMU, I've imagined making this film, and three years later, I'm going to finally make it a reality! But, I can't do it without your help!
About Me
I am currently far from home here at LMU, I grew up in Hawai`i where my interest for filmmaking began. But, it wasn't until my Junior year in high school when I realized that making films didn't have to just be a crazy dream... I could make it a reality! And from then on I've pushed myself further than I ever imagined myself going! I got myself on local sets as a lowly intern, I did my research, and eventually, I made my very first short film as an application to LMU... and well... let's just say I've come a long way since then!
But luckily, someone saw some potential in me, and now I'm here! I've met some great friends, and together we've all helped each other grow... but now it's finally my turn and I'm directing my biggest film ever! In fact, I'm going to make sure it's the best film I've ever made!
Where would your donations go?
- Locations - Locations don't come cheap, but with your help we can film in a beautiful old west town set in Littlerock, CA to help bring the setting and story to life the way I've always dreamt!
- Costumes - Cowboy hats, big ol' boots, belts, bandoliers, the works. We want to have everything that makes the wild west so iconic! But, we can't do it alone! We would be using the donation money to breath life to these characters through their costumes and the props!
