Hi! My name is Sol Guerrero and I am a student filmmaker. Along side my friend and colleague Ollie Cunningham we are making a film about the fear of deportation within immigrant families. Hearing personal stories and reading about current events such as ICE agents targeting school children has inspired us to make this film. We both grew up in Los Angeles where many of our friends and even family are affected by this.

This film is titled "Helado". It is for the kids who hold fear in their lives because of legal status, and the ones who don't take certain opportunities out of fear for their families.
