'A Guide To Living In The Woods: As Told by Someone Who Does So', is a student short film and capstone created by Jacob Naffziger and based out of the Colorado Film School. The film is a dark comedy centered around the Woodsman, a puppet who wants to teach you how to live in the woods and make some friends along the way, but things don't tend to go as they should. The project is being headed by Jacob Naffziger, the Writer and Director, Tim Bulger, the Director of Photography, and Grace Amato, the Production Designer. This project is being created both as a showcase of what they've learned in their time at Colorado Film School, and to develop an interesting and visually striking narrative that will intrigue and capture viewers. Seeing as this is the last project they'll make while at school, this is effectively a showcase that the cast and crew will hopefully be able to use to get jobs working in the industry.

When It comes to the project, The school does provide reimbursement for the food that is used to feed the crew, as well as a small amount for art design. While this helps, this project is ambitious and requires a bit of extra help. The funds that would be donated would be used to help purchase materials for sets, props, and extra filming equipment. If we surpass our goal we would also like to shoot the whole project on film, both creating a new opportunity for our crew with a new medium and adding a special look to the film.
