Student Denim Sewing Club

The SAMOHI Denim Construction and Technical Skills Club aims to provide accessible sewing lessons to SAMOHI students, teaching skills and techniques used specifically in denim garments. Our club wouldn't be possible without support from friends, family, and other community members, so donations would be greatly appreciated and would help bring our club to life. A donation can contribute to things such as sewing machines, irons, fabric, thread, needles, rulers, chalk, and other sewing tools and materials necessary for successful lessons.

Our club aims to partner with the SAMOHI theater department, sharing our fundraised sewing machines with the costume department and hopefully raising a group of students who can help out with costume design. Additionally, we also have the goal to sew items for the homeless, creating bags and potentially clothing for those who are less fortunate.
