The 2019 campaign is now live! Click here.
Citizens' Climate Lobby holds an annual conference in Washington D.C. We lobby Congress directly in support of climate change solutions.

It is vital that Congress hears from their constituents. We are raising money to send students to the conference so their voices can be heard.
This is a project of Northern California CCL chapters to fund students who would otherwise be underrepresented. Students will be selected to represent economically, culturally, and politically diverse constituencies.

Last year, we successfully funded the travel of Gabriel and Joseph. They spoke to the offices of Doris Matsui, Jason Smith, Jeff Denham, Darrel Issa, David Valadao, and Kevin McCarthy.
Some words about last year's conference from Gabriel Medina (one of the 2017 recipients of the travelship).
"Meeting with your congressperson or their aide was nerve racking at first, but once the meeting began, my colleagues and I stated our concerns for the climate and or ideas for carbon pricing.
No matter how our government acts in regards to our climate, people power will always Prevail and protect Mother Nature.
During the conference we participated in various breakout groups and had productive conversations in regards to individual cultures and backgrounds in regards to mitigating climate change.
Being in the same room with other climate change Advocates was one of the best feelings ever.
I wouldn't have been able to experience such an amazing, collaborative event for our planet's future without the travelship, thank you."

Unfortunately, donations are not tax-decuctible.
With your support, we are hoping to bring even more students this year for this important work.
