Hello everyone!
Thank you for taking the time to look at my page. My predicament had started about 12 weeks ago, I have tendonitis in my achilles tendon. I wore a boot everywhere I went for the last 10 weeks, even sleeping in it for the first 2 months to avoid surgery. All went well, and I was placed on workman's comp and released for work on the 14th. My bosses told me that I have no work for the next 3 weeks.. Even though I'm released for 100% capacity of work..... I'm not entirely sure if that's legal.
This will leave me with 3 weeks of no income. I will not be able to pay my rent or my medical expenses to keep my insurance. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia last November. Stress makes my fibro flare up,just more icing on the cake. I do not really have any family and most of my friends are pretty much strapped with their kids and their own problems. I thought I'd give this a go because I'm terrified of what the next few weeks will bring.
Last year I had a lipoma removed from my back and that pretty much wiped out my savings. With this injury,workman's comp was only two thirds of my pay and I had to send some of it back for my medical insurance. I am already behind and now I've been informed that I have no way to make income so if anyone has anything they can donate, any amount ,I would be humbled and greatly appreciative. I've thought of many ways to raise the money, I don't have things to sell. My car is a pretty good car but it's still a bucket. I really don't have much choice of which way I can move and I don't want to let my roommate down. She is a mother of two and expects and needs her rent on time.
I know this is such a slight issue with so many people with medical bills and things going on that are so much more complex than this but if anyone is willing to help, I would be beyond grateful.
