It has been my privilege to work alongside Mike Stubbs since 1992 and since 1997 at BHBS. In that time I have witnessed at first hand his unrivalled commitment to providing sporting opportunities to young people. If there is another teacher who makes a 2 hour round trip on a Saturday to provide extracurricular activity, I have yet to meet them.
When news of his retirement became public I was asked by many people about how they could show their appreciation and mark the occasion. Sadly we are not in a position to gather and celebrate, but there is something that together, we can do.
I know that Mike intends to use his retirement to spend more time with his girls and in particular to travel with them. With this in mind I have put this page together to enable anyone to contribute towards this opportunity for Mike.
