Stuart’s Tour De Mon 106 Mile Challenge

Stuart’s 106-Mile Challenge; Anglesey`s Tour de Mon

This Sunday, 17th August, Stuart will be taking on Anglesey`s Tour de Mon but more specifically The Tour Mawr a grueling 106-mile cycling challenge across the breathtaking landscapes of Anglesey. From rugged coastlines to iconic landmarks, this isn’t just a test of endurance. Stuart won’t be doing it alone he’ll be joined by his good friend David Chana, who’ll be riding alongside him every step of the way. Together, they’re taking on this challenge with heart, grit, and purpose.

Stuart is riding for his mum, who has courageously battled breast cancer in 2022/2023. Her unwavering strength, resilience, and determination have touched everyone around her. Now cancer-free, she continues to inspire and Stuart is determined to give something back.

'Witnessing my mum’s strength as she faced breast cancer and come through it has been life-changing. This ride is my way of showing gratitude to her for her courage, to the NHS for their unwavering support and care along with organizations like North West Cancer Research, whose incredible work brings hope, to advancing life-saving research and raising awareness of the signs and symptoms. Because when cancer is caught early, the chances of a better outcome grow significantly.

Stuart’s ride is more than a personal challenge, it’s a call to action. Every donation, big or small, helps fund life-saving research and support services for families facing cancer today and in the future.

All funds raised will go directly to North West Cancer Research, a charity dedicated to tackling cancer through life-saving research and education. Striving to improve awareness, diagnosis and treatment of cancer, prioritizing the forms which hit our region the hardest, determined to find cures and stop cancer sooner, focusing on cancers that disproportionately affect people in our region—including breast cancer.

Your donation will help fund:
  • Groundbreaking cancer research projects
  • Vital awareness and prevention campaigns
  • Support for local communities affected by cancer
  • Together, we can help improve outcomes and save lives.

Whether it’s £5 or £50, your generosity will fuel hope, healing, and progress. North West Cancer Research is the only independent charity dedicated to tackling cancer across the North West and North Wales, there goal is simple: to put our region’s cancer needs first.

Donate today and help Stuart turn every mile into a message of love, strength, and gratitude. Together, we can make a difference.

Let’s ride with him. Let’s fight cancer—one mile at a time.
