Dear Friends,
This Friday is “our meeting on a hilltop” to pay tribute to the art and life and love of Stuart. California held several circles of friends for Stuart and you all were never far from his thoughts or dreams. We all want to properly drink in and drink up our mutual admiration and sorrow as befits our dear, gallant, and endlessly generous friend. Many of you have been eager to participate in the celebration and have asked how you can help. There are expenses involved in hosting this gathering. To that end, we have established this campaign. Your contributions will be greatly appreciated and lovingly spent in a way that we think Stuart would enjoy.
If you are unable to make a cash donation, there are other areas where we hope for some assistance. Let us know if you are able to help.
• Does anyone have access to discounted floral purchases?
• We are looking for two 50” video monitors, two PA systems, or one PA system and a blue tooth speaker system that can play in multiple rooms from one device (like a Sonos with 3 speakers).
We are also looking for people to help with the following specific tasks, who can arrive at the Swedenborgian at 3pm with these items.
• Misc food pick ups and deliveries
• Someone to pickup and deliver appx 150lbs of ice
• Someone to assist with A/V set up
• Strong arms to move tables & chairs and general set-up and load-in to reception area, both before and after event.
