On Saturday 4 April 2026, Stuart Tree passed away very suddenly at the age of 46.

Stu was someone who touched the lives of so many people. He had an extraordinary warmth, kindness and generosity of spirit that made everyone around him feel welcome, valued and at ease. Whether you knew him through football, photography, his local community, or simply as a friend or family member, you will know just how deeply he cared for people.

For many, Stu was the heart and soul of Corinthian-Casuals FC, a club that was such a huge part of his life. His passion, energy and remarkable creative talent helped shape its identity in the modern era.

More than anything, Stu will be remembered for the person he was. A true gentle giant, standing 6ft 8in tall yet one of the kindest and most approachable people you could ever meet, he had a rare gift for bringing people together. He made friends everywhere he went and leaves behind an enormous circle of people who loved him and will miss him dearly.

At this incredibly difficult time, we are coming together to support his partner Katja and two-year-old son, Ethan in any way we can.

This page has been created to help ease some of the financial pressures ahead, and to give them the time and space they need to grieve without added worry.
