Stuart still battling to save his leg.
Donation protected
Sadly Stuart has been admitted to St Augustine’s private hospital. Although the original operation was a success unfortunately the infection in his leg has never given up after countless anti biotics. It is now so serious that doctors are talking about amputation. He is in St Augustines as he has to be in a cool sterile environment. Dr Amechi wants to start hyperbaric chamber treatment as he thinks this is the only thing that will work. Obviously this is going to be more expensive than the first operation. Our costs after the first operation were over £25000 which now leaves me in the horrible position of yet again reaching out to our friends to help in any way that you can. It is a terrible position to be in to have to ask but I am desperate to try and save his leg. It sounds like he is going to be in hospital for weeks but funds will only allow for a certain time. I am sorry for reaching out to you all again. Helen
