Stuart Saggers’ brain tumour treatment
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Ruby, the daughter of a strong fighter, a man me and my family look up to for his determination and courage whilst battling a brain tumour for roughly 20 years with extreme fortitude. With his dreams shattered at 32 years old, unable to work and complete tasks a healthy individual would cease to think twice about, his life has changed… and certainly not all for the better. With all credit going to my mother for her strength and hard work supporting the family financially, mentally and physically, we are all carers for Stuart and try our hardest to ensure his safety and well-being is always our top priority, even throughout our education. He is smiley, comedic, talented, an avid football fan, and honestly the most admirable father and husband.
My dad has received constant treatment throughout his battle. After having an operation a couple years ago, he had a titanium plate fitted in his head to protect his brain, which had to be removed after infection along with a 3 month stay in the hospital. With this in mind, his head is now unprotected and any impact could seriously deteriorate his health.
My mother has sought to find treatment for my dad and has turned to naturopathy and alternative treatment, with hundreds of thousands of evidence from naturopaths in support of the benefits, particularly towards cancer treatment. With hopes of destroying his brain tumour, which has recently grown back, this is one of the only options for my dad besides the chemotherapy he is also partaking in.
Naturopathy and alternative treatments are not cheap, it will cost roughly £1800 for a full supply and with children to feed and bills to pay, it is an arduous and difficult aim to meet on our own. Anything above the cost of Stuarts treatment will go towards The Brain Tumour Charity, Brain Tumour Research and Isabel Hospice.
Any donation at all is appreciated and will help so much, however if you are unable to donate, please show your support by sharing this wherever you can. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
