And no one saw it coming. This was a completely unexpected incident and caught all of us completely off guard. The hardest part is that we are thousands of miles away and there isn’t much we can do from here. Any help you can provide would help our family so much None of us were prepared for this. Please keep Stu in your prayers, he still really needs your support in every way possible. My brother Stuart has been living in Quebec for years. If you know him, you know his goofy smile and kind heart. He’s the type of guy that would help anyone in need. Stuart was found unconscious and unresponsive by a roommate. He was rushed to a local hospital and has endured a coma and repetitive seizures over the past weeks. The doctors are still determining what has happened to Stuart and the best course of action. Our family thinks that Stuart’s best chance is to return home to the place he is familiar with, to complete his treatment in the US. With it being a pandemic, we need to arrange for safe transport back to Virginia from Quebec and fundraise for his medical bills, which will be significant. I love my brother and I can’t stand the idea of him being alone in a hospital so far away.
