Stuart Boden's Funeral Fund

Hello all, I am Bryn, the only child and next of kin of Stuart Boden,

The love and support shown by hundreds of people reacting and commenting on my posts, many of whom I've never even met, has been incredible. It's clear he was loved by many and whilst I won't be able to have the conversations I needed with him, seeing the positive impact he has had on so many peoples lives warms my heart,

No one was expecting this to happen, not even dad. And though he would often say, "Don't let me become an old man who needs someone to wipe his arse eveyday," he didn't have things in place for that eventuality,

How the funds raised will be used: A service for family and friends at the Telford crematorium and then a celebration of his life at The All Nations Inn in Coalport. At some point in the future, perhaps have a memorial bench and/or a tree planted somewhere with a view that can be enjoyed by all, rather than a gravestone. I think this is far more fitting of someone as free spirited as my father, who also often said, "When I'm gone just throw me in the river Severn," but as this is highly illegal I think a bench/tree with a view is the next best thing.

I would not be here today asking for help if it was not needed, so lets give Stu the send off he deserves.
