Support the Future of Climate Action: Send Youth to D.C. for the Planet!

Hey there! I'm Joanne, the advisor for our amazing Mountain West Youth Team for Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL), a squad of passionate young climate advocates from Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and beyond. We're currently based out of Reno, NV! This year, we have a BIG dream: raising $10,000 to send a group of unstoppable youth to Washington, D.C., for CCL's June Lobby Day Conference!

Here’s the plan: with your help, we’ll be giving scholarships of $500-$1000 to numerous students and head to Capitol Hill to meet our Mountain West congress members face-to-face, making our voices heard and pushing for real, bipartisan climate policy. Because let's face it—who better to inspire action than the people who will inherit this planet?

Why this matters: Climate change doesn’t take a day off, and neither do we. We’re all about pushing for policies that are bold, effective, and fair—policies that prioritize a sustainable future for all.

How You Can Help: Our goal is to cover travel and conference expenses so that young leaders ready to make a difference can join us, regardless of financial background. With your support, we’ll get there, and together, we’ll make the Mountain West a major voice for the planet in Congress!
