I went to Mombasa, Kenya this past summer and came back with more than just an experience and some safari photos. I came back with a vision and a goal to make more of a difference than I ever could have in my few weeks teaching and volunteering my time at The Port Reitz School, a school with 305 handicapped and socially disadvantaged students. I came back and asked myself, why does it need to end there? What can I do in my community to make a difference globally? I came up with the idea of using my talent as a musician for more than just entertainment. I've been busking on the streets of Vancouver to raise money, and now I'm using GoFundMe as a portal to busk virtually, so all of you can donate to the cause!
