Hi, My name is Luna, and this is really hard for me to write. I’m struggling just to cover a lot of things like rent, groceries, and daily essentials. I’ve been trying so hard to find work, but I keep getting nothing back. I'm on benefits, but it’s nowhere near enough to keep up with living costs, and things are getting worse by the day.

I havent been able to get myself or my family anything in a long time. we have been avoiding going out and getting ourself things. I also have a little brother and I dont want him to watch out family struggle anymore and stress about being able to afford for rent or food. he desrves to have what we didnt have.

On top of all that, I’ve been trying to save to marry the person I love. My fiancé lives in another country, and it’s been over three years since I last saw him. We’ve been waiting and hoping all this time but I just feel with the way things are, that wait could go on forever.

If I don’t manage to save soon, we might have to wait another two years or more, and honestly… my heart can’t take that. I’ve tried everything I can, but with rent always coming first, there’s never anything left over. It’s heartbreaking watching time pass, knowing we love each other so deeply, but can’t take that step forward — just because we don’t have the money.

I dont know if you can see clearly but its me and him in the photo on the balvony of where he lives. One of the last nights we spent together 3 years ago.

This isn’t about a big, fancy wedding. I’m just trying to have enough to start our life together, legally and culturally, like we’ve always dreamed. It would mean the world just to be able to say we’re finally married and move forward after everything.
