Hello Friends!

As you all know, Kyle and I have been severely struggling recently with everything, and today is no different. I have been unemployed since Feb 25 for some reason that truly doesn't even speak to my character or work ethic. I have been on unemployment since that date, and that is running thin. Kyle and I also cleared out both our 401Ks to attempt to survive. Well, after Sept 1, that is all drained also. I was approved for emergency food stamps ($292 a month) that only last 3 months; now we get a whopping $23. This means we also haven't had any food in the house for 2 months...

Kyle was able to get a new job making something, whereas I can't even get an interview. I have applied to over 175 jobs and received nothing but denials. I have tried to pick up some work here and there at the club (Clifton Pleasure Club) to offset for at least a week.

Today (Aug 11, 2025), Kyle's car decided to go out of commission, AGAIN. He had his brakes worked on back in June and has since continued to have problems. This time we can't even drive it back to the shop. We are currently looking at a BGE bill that is over $350 when our normal is around $200. We are staring down the barrel when the mortgage comes up on Sept 1, car payments, food for us & our animals. We have NEVER struggled like this and don't know what else to do. We are at our wits' end, and this is a last resort, at least for a month or so. Kyle is amazing at budgeting, and yet we can't get ahead of anything.
