My son is in a mental health crisis related to his Autism and a major growth spurt. This growth spurt has caused many regressions including emotional regulation. Meaning his ability to stay out of fight/flight is paper thin. It has created a dangerous environment. Due to his other disabilities, he has been denied care at every center in NY State. I am struggling to keep up financially and am worried about making my bills this month. Between my van being down, multiple appointments a day, and home modifications I've had to make to create a safe environment for him, I'm tapped. Today he broke a door trying to elope. I'm also trying to save up for a safety helmet due to his head banging. Anything will help to get to the goal of safety for him and our family.
