Hi everyone. I am in need. Can you help?
The first photo was over 10 years ago, I was still working then. Second picture with glasses is more current.
I was denied SS Disability (yes, I have a lawyer). I am applying for early SS Retirement at 62 years old ( at a 30% loss because my retirement age is at 67, for full benefits). I cant file until appt. date, 12/3/2025 at the SS office.
I have no saved retirement funds, no income ( I have been trying to get work from home, at no luck). I had to cut down expenses... so no internet. Most companies want you to supply your own computers and internet. I have an old windows 7 computer. Friends helping to find a computer with Windows 10-11, headset. I sold my paid-off Subaru Forester, to pay rent and utilities for a few months. Now that money is gone. I am homebound, walking with a walker in home. I can only leave house if I have someone with me, possibility of falling. So I can't UBER a ride. Other health issues... Edema in legs, incontinence, carpal tunnel both wrists, pinch nerve in shoulder, left hand pins and needles numbing in fingers/thumb. Since I was 16 years old, I have worked 1-2 jobs.
I have been in the fields of Printing, veterinary assistant/receptionist and call centers ( video operator, customer service). I have taken care of many pets thru the veterinary clinic I worked for. My true passion/Calling..PET CARE.
Two of my older brothers health are wavering, but they are determine to do all they can to survive. Please, prayers for them. My older brother, Scott, passed away in his sleep due to health complications with his legs. My Dad in a nursing home. My stepmother keeping him from me. I will admit I am obese and struggling day to day. I see myself going to a nursing home without pets. That will kill me, for sure. I am trying not to give up. I have a very dear friend who has done tremendous things to help me. I cant become a burden to her. She has many struggles herself. But she has stayed strong and gracious to all that know her. Willing to give a helping hand. I am so proud of her and love her very much. As I become homebound, I have a handful of friends, but even they don't know how bad it has gotten for me. I am depressed, lonely and not seeing a way out yet. I love helping others, being around children. Like pets, kids have a way of being honest and loving at the same time, no judgement on their part.
So that's it, hoping to get my Social Security Retirement started in December. But after appying, I will have to wait one month before receiving income, so that looks like January. I havecalways been the one helping others. It is very hard to ask for help. And others have, definitely, helped me along on life.
