To support Stu White and his family in his battle

So, when you think life’s alright and you’re planning yours and your family’s future and then you turn the corner and get hit by a baseball bat, a very big baseball bat being carried by an individual called “LUKE EMIA” (leukaemia) you don’t know what has hit you. He’s not a very pleasant individual but the individual that he hit, is!
As I dropped off Stu at the hospital entrance that afternoon armed just with his doctor’s letter, thinking he had a chest infection, I shouted to him and said “good luck give me a call when you are ready, and I’ll pick you up”. Little did we know what was about to unfold. “OK” was the reply and I watched as he sauntered through the entrance.
Not a thought of what he was about to receive. Little did anyone imagine LUKE was round that corner… “WHAM!!”
Now that was the end of September and immediate hospitalisation was required to fend off LUKE, by Stu’s friends, “KEEMO” and “THERAPY.”
Not being a quitter and full of determination and positivity to overcome the beating that he had taken from LUKE, Stu embraced the duo to help the cause along with “St EMCELL”.
This is the path that is now being trodden by Stu, his carers in hospital and his family and friends, standing united to get him better again. The whole situation is very fluid and the path is a long one and many hugs and buckets of love are needed to bear the burden of this terrible situation.
Over the years that I have been acquainted with Stu I have seen and recognised what respect he has for others - offering to help at the drop of a hat, with a filthy sense of humour to go with it. That character has been slightly dented at the moment but may this be quickly resolved.
This leads me on to where you can help. You will all be aware that Stu is clearly unable to earn the kings shilling for now and whilst he will be properly motivated to return, there will be a void in his ability to so do.
A number of people have expressed a desire to provide financial support to the family to alleviate some of the monetary pressures and allow Stuart to focus on getting better.
Please feel free to give as much or as little as you can.
Any money received will allow Stuart and his truly lovely family to navigate through this horrible period in their lives in a slightly easier manner.
It was only around the corner; we just didn’t see it coming…
